George at GL locks was fantastic, I cannot recommend him highly enough. We came home to a problem with our front door which would not open when... unlocked. We called George who answered immediately and was with us promptly. He had us in the house in moments and then proceeded to resolve the problems with replacement parts he had with him. He was transparent on what needed to be done and the price was very reasonable. We would certainly use him again.read more

We were locked in our house when the lock failed on our front door - this is the only way to get to the front as we have no side entrance now! George... was great - he left what he was doing to come to our rescu, so I was able to get to my physio appointment. He was very professional and soon sorted the parts we needed, coming back later to fit them. George also pointed out that the door handle was 'dodgy' and at risk of snapping off! He showed us how to close the door without putting further pressure on it and arranged to pop back with the necessary bits to make it safe until we decide about a replacement. Excellent service we would recommend without hesitation.read more

We called this company when we had been let down by one of the so called bigger companies. He promised he would get to us as quick as he could and... before the end of the afternoon. He was true to his word and was an absolute gent. He didn't have what we needed in his vehicle but went to get one from his colleague at the busiest time of the day. Nothing was too much trouble and he did an excellent job. No fuss and no mess but he still cleaned up afterwards. Would have no hesitation in using GL_Locks again if needed and would definitely recommend anybody else to give him a call if they have any problems with their locks.read more

I called George at GL_Locks because I needed a new lock and night-latch fitting quite urgently because my front door security was comprised. I told... him I was a single mum with young children and needed my door making secure. He said he could come right away from Gloucester and would be about 40 minutes. - He arrived after 30 minutes and within 15 minutes more he had finished what needed doing... a polite and helpful man. he made me feel safe and I was very surprised at the amount he charged, I was honestly expecting it to be triple what it was...
